Calling All 3rd and 4th Grade Mathletes!!!
We are excited to invite interested students to participate in the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) — one of the largest math contests in the United States for elementary and middle school students! The goal of the NLMC is to encourage students to excel in math by strengthening their problem-solving skills.
Participants will attend one 'practice session' on Wednesday, April 1, and will participate in the contest on Thursday, 4/9. These opportunities will be held during the lunch hour.
During the contest, students will apply math skills to solve 20 non-routine problems that require creativity, originality, logical reasoning, and critical thinking. This is a wonderful opportunity for students who enjoy a challenge and love thinking deeply about math!
We are limited to 30 participants at each grade level. Please complete the Google Form if your child would like to join the team!

We are asking our parents to please participate in the 5Essentials Survey:
🚨 Please note: A parent supplement report will only be generated if at least 20 percent of a school’s parents complete the survey. Our response rate is below. The survey closes on March 13.
Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will help us understand the conditions at your child’s school and guide improvement. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
Upcoming IAR Assessments in 3rd-5th grade
IAR testing begins on Wednesday, March 4th and runs through March 19th for all 3rd-5th graders. Students take two ELA and three Math tests within this time frame. Fifth graders will also take three Illinois Science Assessments that will take place on Monday, March 2nd and Friday, March 6th. For specific testing days, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.
ABC/25 Foundation Fundraiser
Join the ABC/25 Foundation for our annual family-friendly event ABC/25 Fore Education Fundraiser at Topgolf Schaumburg on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM!
What You Can Expect:
- Your Bay ticket includes 3 hours of golf, appetizers, non-alcoholic drinks (cash bar available), access to an in-person-only raffle giveaway, a DJ, and freebies from local businesses!
- Spectator tickets include all of the same perks minus the golf.
- Our silent auction and raffle will be online! Winners do not have to be present to win.
The ABC/25 Foundation is 100% volunteer-run, so 100% of your purchase goes back into AHSD25 classrooms!

Westgate Cares Event-Feed My Starving Children
Join Westgate Cares at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg on Thursday, February 26 at 4:45 PM to pack meals and help feed hungry children around the world. This event is out of school and all students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. See the Sign Up to sign up and for more details!
