Letter from the Principal

Dear St. Teresa Families!

The week started off a little interesting, with Monday and Tuesday being snow days! We hope you enjoyed the fun songs that were included in the snow day announcements. While the snow may have rearranged our plans, it certainly didn’t stop us.

On Wednesday, our 5th–8th grade students proudly participated in the Midwest Mission Rosary, serving as one of only five schools selected to lead the rosary. Joined by 75 participants from six different states, our students helped lead prayer for the world—that all may come to know Christ. It was a powerful and faith-filled moment, and we are so proud of our students for representing St. Teresa with reverence and confidence.

Yesterday was filled with excitement as St. Teresa students enjoyed our annual morning out at the Lincoln Theater, where the entire student body watched a movie on the big screen. In the afternoon, our 3rd–8th graders cheered on their classmates during the school spelling bee. Congratulations to Johanna, Alexa, and Max, our top three spellers—well done!

Today brings one of the most anticipated events of the year: the Teachers vs. 8th Grade Volleyball Game! The match will take place this afternoon—are you Team Teachers or Team 8th Grade? 🏐

Looking ahead to the weekend, on Saturday, January 31st, we invite fathers and daughters to join us for the Men’s Club Father–Daughter Dance in the gym from 6:00–9:00 PM. This year’s theme is a Luau, so break out your Hawaiian shirts and tropical attire for a fun-filled evening of dancing and special memories. 🌴🌺

Due to the recent snow days, our Faith Family Mass with our Sister Pals has been rescheduled for February 11th, which also happens to be the official day of St. Teresa’s 100th Anniversary—a very special day to celebrate together.

📌 Important Reminders:

February 6th is an early dismissal day at 11:30 a.m.
If you haven’t already purchased your tickets for the School Auction, time is running out! The deadline is February 2nd, so don’t delay—get your tickets today!

What a busy, joyful, and faith-filled week it has been at St. Teresa!

As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership. TIGERS LEAD THE WAY!

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

TIGER CALL - 108 FAMILIES RESPONDED out of 127

The PTO is creating this year’s Tiger Call, and we’re excited to share that it will be completely electronic this year!

The Tiger Call is our school’s family contact directory, helping parents and guardians easily connect with one another throughout the year.

We ask that every household complete the Tiger Call Link, by November 6th so we can compile and share the Tiger Call with families as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping us stay connected and making our school community stronger!

Warm regards,

St. Teresa PTO

Once a month at the 11:00 AM Mass at St. Teresa Church, we celebrate our Children and Youth Mass.

During this special liturgy, the young members of our parish are invited to take part in the ministries of the Mass—serving as greeters, ushers, readers, and gift bearers.

Our next Children and Youth Mass will be held on January 25th at 11:00 AM. We encourage all families to mark their calendars and join us for this joyful celebration.

If your child would like to participate, please use the sign-up links below to select a ministry role.

We look forward to seeing our youth involved and growing in faith!
