If you need to meet with a school leader, please contact one of our administrative secretaries to schedule an appointment. They manage the daily calendars and will help coordinate a meeting at the earliest available time.
To ensure our school leaders can effectively support students, staff, and families throughout the day, we ask that you avoid stopping by to request unscheduled meetings. If an urgent matter arises, we will address it as quickly and appropriately as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Important Schedule Change Information
No schedule changes will be made after August 21.
The schedule change request window will be open August 17β21.
The counseling team will send communication to students with instructions on when and how to pick up a schedule change request form.
We want to inform you that Alice Johnson Junior High will be in year two of our new master schedule structure for the 26-27 school year to help improve student achievement.
As mentioned last school year, instructional time for reading and math has been increased, which means there will be limited availability of elective courses. While our counseling team will make every effort to honor studentsβ top elective choices, it may not be possible to accommodate every request.
Our goal remains to provide a well-rounded education for all students, and we will continue to offer a variety of electives within the structure of our master schedule.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these adjustments to better serve our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your childβs education.

PBIS Rewards?
PBIS Rewards is a schoolwide system we use at Alice Johnson Junior High to encourage and recognize positive student behavior.
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Instead of focusing only on consequences, PBIS Rewards helps us intentionally teach, model, and celebrate the behaviors we want to see in our students every day.
How It Works
Students earn PBIS points when they demonstrate positive behaviors such as being respectful, responsible, prepared, and engaged in learning.
Points are earned during the school day from staff members who recognize students for making good choices.
Students can redeem points for incentives, rewards, and special opportunities through our campus PBIS program.
