Jones Dolphins Make a SPLASH!
A big congratulations to our 3rd graders, they have finished testing! This week our 5th graders will continue taking the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments (SBAC) as they focus on Science. We will also be doing some make-up testing for 4th and 5th graders who missed portions of the Literacy and Mathematics test.
This Thursday is our Spring Showcase of learning. It is an incredible night where we highlight all of the amazing work our students have been doing over the course of the year. Check out the flyer below for all the details!
And remember this Friday, May 24th is an additional Minimum Day for our UTK-5th Graders (Dismissal 11:40/11:50 am) and there is No School on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day.

Here is a link to the San Diego Unified Food Services Website where you can find allergy and nutritional information on foods served at schools. Foods not found on our regular school site menu will be listed individually under the "Alternate Menu Items" section.

The online application for PrimeTime is now available! PrimeTime is a collaboration among San Diego Unified School District Extended Learning Opportunities staff and PrimeTime Partner organizations to provide before and after school care on school sites. Details about eligibility, priority criteria, and timelines can be found at the link below.

Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
