A Little Zen in the Fox Den!

This morning, we officially opened our new TOMS Staff Zen Space!

A HUGE thank you to STUCO and Mrs. Ashley Klopfer, Wellness Club and Ms. Megan LeDuc, and Sunshine Club and Mrs. Melissa DeRitis for helping create this special space for our incredible faculty and staff!

Our new Zen Space offers a welcoming place to relax, recharge, collaborate, and connect during the busy school day. With comfy seating, coffee, snacks, puzzles, a Little Free Library, and access to our TOMS Care Closet for students, there is a little something for everyone!

Our staff pours so much time, energy, and heart into our Silver Foxes each day. We hope this space gives them a well-deserved opportunity to take a moment for themselves!

A little relaxation, a lot of appreciation, and another reason we love our Silver Fox Family!

HANDS-ON SCIENCE IN THE FOX DEN!

It was Frog Dissection Day in Mrs. Rich's, Mr. DeBell's, and Mrs. Franey's science classes today! Our Silver Foxes had the opportunity to explore animal anatomy firsthand by examining and identifying organs and body structures. Students also got an up-close look at the internal anatomy of a pig!

Many of our students really enjoyed this unique, hands-on learning experience that brought science to life beyond the textbook!

A big thank you to our science teachers for creating memorable learning opportunities that spark curiosity and discovery!

Ms. Bright’s Class Spotlight!

This week, students explored a secondary source and worked to identify its intended audience. Using “window tools,” they examined small sections of a painting at a time, carefully observing the details and piecing together clues to figure out what was being shown.

We love seeing our students think critically, make observations, and discover meaning through art! Great work, everyone!

https://www.facebook.com/CarolinaForestBusOffice

While stops and times for most Horry County buses are fairly established, it is a good idea for parents to reach out to their local bus office at the beginning of the year to verify stop times and locations.

You can click the link, https://forms.gle/Fj3Hu5kLqcZLJWW58 for a form to request information on stops. The forms will be worked and you will be emailed back the stop bus number and times. This may speed up the process as phone lines will be busy.
