What a beautiful day it has been! We enjoyed being out side with the kids during lunch today, they do such a great job organizing mini volleyball, football, soccer and basketball games - and they are fun to watch!

Students are able to purchase carnations for their friends for Valentine's Day during our Carnation Fundraiser - running now through February 12th! Carnations are $3.00 each and can be bought before/after school or during lunch. Carnations will be delivered on 2/13 to students during 7th period.

We are excited to officially start our second winter sports season. This season we have Boys Basketball and Knowledge Bowl competing. I know that our athletes and coaches have been working extremely hard this week and are looking forward to getting games and competitions started in the next few weeks.

Upcoming Sports Registration - Track & Field

Track and Field is currently open and the season will begin Monday 4/13. Track and Field is open to current 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. Please make sure that your athlete has a current physical on file, and all forms are signed through FinalForms prior to the first day of practice.

Hockinson Cheer Open Mats

8th Graders need to be cleared in Final Forms (with current sport physical) to attend open mat.

Signing up for open Mat/Tryouts does not mean they have to try out- but it will be used for tryouts clearance also.

The Hockinson PWT is excited to continue supporting the students and staff at Hockinson Middle School this year! In partnership with school administration, we are raising funds for two important initiatives: Staff Appreciation activities HMS Staff Hospitality and new Recess Equipment HMS Recess Equipment.

• Our fundraising goal for staff hospitality this year is $2,500.
• Our fundraising goal for recess equipment this year is $300.

Your support makes a big difference in creating a positive, engaging environment for our students and showing appreciation for our hardworking staff. We would love your help in contributing to these important fundraisers, thank you for being part of our community!
