DFP Family Update

Spring is in full bloom at DFP! Throughout our classrooms, students are busy exploring all things spring. Children are creating flower arrangements in dramatic play areas, learning about the life cycle of flowers, and eagerly observing our caterpillars grow bigger each day. There is so much hands-on learning, cooperative play, and joyful discovery taking place across the school. As you can see through the updates from your child’s teacher, our students are engaged, curious, and truly enjoying both their learning and play experiences. We are also looking forward to several exciting upcoming events, including Field Day and Big Truck Day!

Please Drive Carefully
Gentle reminder: Please drive slowly and carefully while on school grounds at all times. Elm Street staff are arriving during our student arrival time, and it is imperative that we maintain a safe environment for both adults and students. Thank you for your cooperation and attention to safety.
Incoming Family Orientation Evening 5/27 at 6:30
If you will be new to DFP in the fall, please join us for an informational evening on Wednesday, May 27 to learn more about the preschool. This evening is for the adults only and is an opportunity to learn about the school year, curriculum, communication methods, and answer your questions.
Spring Reminders
As warmer temperatures approach, it is helpful to dress your student in layers. While the mornings can be cool, it is quickly starting to warm up! Also, sneakers and closed-toes shoes are best for running and jumping on the playground - please no flip flops as this is definitely a tripping hazard.
Finally, we are not allowed to apply sunscreen, big spray, etc. on your student. Please keep this in mind over these coming months - thank you.
DFP Graduate Signs
We have lawn signs available for sale for those rising Kindergarten students. A sign is $20 and you can pay by cash or check (made out to Town of Walpole). Please direct payment to Julie Martin and I will arrange delivery of the sign with you.
