Happy November Maverick Families!

I am proud of all of the hard work you students have done and am happy to continue to provide counseling resources and tools to support you during your time here at TC!

Please see below for upcoming Counseling Events

K-2: This month, I will be providing Friday Enrichments with a focus on the importance and power of gratitude!

3-5: This month, I will be providing Friday Enrichments with a focus on the power of our words in friendships as well as the power of gratitude!

K-5: This month, we will host our third Maverick Hangout to provide students with an additional opportunity to strengthen their community at Tustin Connect!

6th- This month I will be providing an in-class mindfulness activity with a focus on gratitude!

7th-8th: This month, we will continue our series of lessons on the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People". The goal of this lesson series is to strengthen students' executive functioning skills and confidence as a student as they continue to prepare for High School!

9th-10th: This month, I will be providing mindfulness tools and resources.

11th- This month I will be providing a classroom guidance lesson on the importance of self-care. Students will receive tools and resources to aid them in practice self-care specifically during their Thanksgiving break.

12th- This month myself and Mr. David will be hosting one last college application workshop for seniors on November 18th from 12:30PM-2:00PM
