It's My Park Day

Dear Neighbors,

It's My Park Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 9am to 12noon at the Granada Hills Neighborhood Park. We are calling on our Granada Hills residents to volunteer for this event to build community and beautify the park and open space we all love.

It’s My Park Day will be led by Board volunteers and includes projects suitable for both kids and adults. This includes:

• spreading kiddie cushion mulch in the playground
  
• raking leaves and cleaning around trees
  
• repainting picnic tables
  
• flowerbed cleanup around neighborhood sign
  
• planting and re-planting items around the pool
  
• mulching plants around the tennis court
  
• litter pickup
• ...and other efforts of beautification
  

The HOA will provide:

• Kiddie mulch
  
• Bagged hardwood landscape mulch
  
• Paper lawn bags
  
• Paint, rollers, & brushes
  
• Plants
  

Volunteers, please bring:

• wheelbarrows
  
• rakes
  
• shovels
  
• brooms
  
• pruning tools
  
• gloves
  
• any other tools that may contribute to park and landscape maintenance
  

Meet at the pool patio area at 9am for assignments and instructions. Light refreshments will be served by the HOA, but bring a water bottle as well. We look forward to seeing you at this great event!
