Please join us for our next PTA Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th at 7:00pm. One of our School Resource Officers, Chris Seebacher, will be hosting a presentation on Digital Citizenship. Parents of students of all ages are welcome to attend. However, the presentation is geared towards parents of 4th and 5th graders as they approach middle school and children having their own cell phones. Parents will be provided with different resources for online safety recommendations, hear about cyberbullying, and listen to some of the issues related to student online behavior that our school resource officers have seen in the 19 different schools where they are working.

Please note, this presentation is for parents, not for students. Each year students learn about digital citizenship and last year our school resource officers taught a lesson in each of our 5th grade classes, sharing information similar to what will be shared with parents in this presentation. Please fill out this googleform if you plan to attend to help us plan adequate seating.

Patton Staff Holiday Gift Card Collection

Did you know that Patton has 59 staff members?

Many of them, such as support staff, lunch supervisors, and long-term subs don't often get remembered at holiday time. PTA wants to make sure that all the Patton staff during this holiday season feel our love and appreciation.

Consider contributing a $20 to $25 gift card to the Patton PTA to provide to Patton Staff before the winter break (cards will be given to staff the week of December 16-20).

Examples of gift card locations could be Target, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts (don’t forget about local businesses like Gerry’s Cafe, Sweet T’s, Passero), etc. We are looking to collect enough gift cards or funds for all 59 Patton Staff.

If you can’t make it to a store, but want to contribute, you can provide donations via Zelle (cgandor@gmail.com) or Venmo (@Christine-Gandor) or cash donations.

Please drop off gift cards or monetary donations by December 12th at 1107 N Chicago Ave.

Any questions contact Jamie Knapstein (jamieannk1@gmail.com; 920-540-2260) or Lindsay Sudol (lindsaysudol@gmail.com) or Chrissy Gandor (cgandor@gmail.com; 847-650-4440).
