Eagle Edition
Edison Elementary ~ April 28, 2025
Note from the Principals
Hello Edison Families,
The 2024–2025 school year is quickly coming to a close! We are incredibly proud of the effort our 3rd–5th grade students are putting into the Ohio State Tests. In addition, all K–5 students will be participating in end-of-year district benchmark assessments (mCLASS and Edmentum). While the Ohio State Tests measure achievement, our district benchmarks provide valuable insight into each student’s growth throughout the school year. This is always a rewarding time to reflect on and celebrate the progress made through hard work and dedication!
We’d also like to ask for your help with a small but important issue. Many students are bringing reusable water bottles to school—which we fully support—but some bottles have been leaking and creating spills. Please take a moment to do a quick “leak test” before sending a water bottle with your child. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Next week is Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! Please take a moment to read the note below from our PTO regarding ways to show appreciation to our incredible staff. We’re so fortunate to work with your children each day—they truly are our greatest resource!
Lastly, we’re excited to invite all 5th grade parents to join us for the 5th Grade Clap Out on the last day of school at 1:45 p.m. This is a joyful tradition and a memorable sendoff you won’t want to miss!
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need support during these final weeks of school.
Best,
Mrs. Tracz & Mrs. Mackey

Spring Resource Guide from Mrs. Hanlon, Family Liaison
Crossroads & Family Liaison
If you believe your child is experiencing challenges in terms of their mental well-being, it is important to reach out so we can provide needed interventions and support. To meet your child’s needs, it’s essential to collaborate with the principal(s) and/or our Family Liaison, Mrs. Hanlon, to explore resources and services available both inside and outside of school. We now have a Crossroads Provider at Edison, which has been a welcome layer of support for students and families.
Edison PTO
Edison families and staff are automatically part of our PTO! Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Edison Eagle Landing. You can reach out to the PTO via email at eagles@edisonpto.org, and can follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
