Learning Support/Emotional Support
Secondary Special Education Teacher Networking
Let's network!!
Are you tired of reinventing the wheel every school year?
Do you find yourself constantly searching for strategies, resources, and ideas to support your secondary students?
Would you love dedicated time to collaborate with local educators in similar roles and problem-solve real classroom challenges together?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, we’d love for you to join our Secondary Special Education Networking Series!
ARIN IU 28 is excited to continue networking sessions for special education teachers supporting students in general education settings, self-contained classrooms, and resource rooms. These collaborative sessions are designed to provide practical strategies, ready-to-use resources, and meaningful opportunities to connect with colleagues who are navigating many of the same successes and challenges.
Together, we’ll share ideas, explore evidence-based practices, problem-solve current concerns, and build a stronger toolbox of supports for secondary learners. Topics may include academic instruction, behavior and engagement, executive functioning, transition planning, progress monitoring, collaboration, accommodations, and other needs identified by the group.
These sessions are primarily designed for educators working with students in grades 6–12; however, anyone interested in participating is welcome to attend.
Join us from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM at the ARIN IU 28 Central Office in Indiana, PA.
Lunch will be on your own.
Each session includes:
Collaboration with local educators
Practical resources and strategies
Time for networking and problem-solving
Opportunities to share successes and current challenges
5 Act 48 hours
We hope you can join us for the entire series, but attendance at every session is not required.
