SAT Prep Resources

Decatur High School and Dr. Test Prep have created an exciting partnership that starts with all DHS students having access to a comprehensive 200-page SAT Prep PDF. Dr. Test Prep has developed this resource with an “I do, we do” foundation, containing over 500 questions along with videos set up in a step-by-step format. The program emphasizes mastering the Desmos calculator, which is a tool used in DHS classrooms and on standardized assessments, including the SAT.

The program provides flexibility for students that can be used as a complete resource or just targeted assistance. The curriculum begins with essential "front matter" exercises to help students discover their personal "Why," providing the momentum needed for most students to reach a score of around 1100. For those aiming for a four-year college track who want to dive into the full program, use the code bulldogs50 to unlock the complete course for just $50. GaDOE is offering free, live, virtual SAT Prep Classes this spring in partnership with Tutored by Teachers. Students will strengthen foundational math, reading, and writing skills; build confidence with SAT questions; and learn effective test-taking strategies. This accessible virtual series is designed to support students across the state as they prepare for the SAT.
