Future Dates to Save
This document is a good resource for trying to plan ahead for the 2026/27 school year. Prom, Scholarship Night, Breaks, and more. We are plugging in SHS dates and events as we hear of them. This is subject to change, but want to keep you all in the loop.
Message from Principal Haroldson
Dear Spartan Families,
What an incredible Homecoming week! Our halls, fields, and stands were filled with an unmistakable energy, and I couldn’t be prouder of how our Spartan community came together to celebrate.
From the vibrant dress up days and high-spirited assemblies, to the sports matchups throughout the week and the parade, our students demonstrated what true Spartan pride is all about. Seeing students, staff, alumni, and families decked out in blue and white along Catlin Avenue and in the NBC Spartan Sports Complex was a wonderful reminder of what makes Superior High School such a special place to learn and grow.
Events like Homecoming take a tremendous amount of heart and effort. A huge thank you goes out to our student council and all the staff involved who made the week’s festivities safe, memorable, and full of Spartan spirit.
As we settle back into our daily academic routines, let’s carry this strong sense of unity, enthusiasm, and Spartan pride forward into the rest of the Semester. Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school!
Sincerely
Ryan Haroldson, SHS Principal

Virtual Appointments
At our school, we are committed to supporting all aspects of your child’s growth, well-being, and academic success. We understand that many of our students participate in recurring virtual appointments during the school day—such as therapy sessions. We want to be able to provide private spaces for students to attend these appointments. To help us coordinate these needs effectively, we kindly ask that parents take the following steps to ensure we have the space needed to accommodate these appointments.
Reserving a Space
Parents can directly reserve a private space in the Nurse's Office for their student’s virtual appointment using the following calendar link:
Reserve a Private Space for Virtual Appointments
If your appointment will be longer than 45 minutes or starts at a time other than the ones listed you can request the appointment before or after to make sure the space is available for the entirety of the appointment. If the space is unavailable for the time of your student’s appointment please contact our Guidance Secretary, Natalie Lepien at natalie.lepien@superior.k12.wi.us and she will coordinate finding an appropriate space for your student’s needs.
Taking Care of the Attendance Piece
Please also email our attendance office at shsattendance@superior.k12.wi.us. This ensures the student is excused from class during the time they have their appointment. To exempt the missed classes please send a doctor’s or therapist's note so it does not count against their 10 excused absences.
