Morning Arrival and Dismissal After School Morning Arrival and Dismissal After School

Morning Arrival

Students arriving between 7:00 and 7:50 a.m. must report to the gymnasium upon arrival. This time is reserved for teachers’ preparation, and we appreciate your help in allowing them this time to get ready for the school day.

If you need to speak with a teacher, please arrange a meeting with them outside of their scheduled preparation time.

Afternoon Dismissal

To help our school day run smoothly and allow teachers and students to finish their day, we kindly ask families to be mindful of the time spent in the hallways before dismissal. We love seeing our Cathedral families and appreciate your support in helping us maintain our daily routines.

  • K–8 Dismissal: The school day ends at 2:55 p.m. This is when students are dismissed from class, and they may not be outside immediately at that time. Please allow time for the dismissal process. If you need to pick up your student before the end of the school day, please stop at the main office, and we will have your student brought down to you.

  • Preschool Dismissal: The preschool day ends at 3:00 p.m. Please be sure to sign your child out when picking them up. If you arrive before 3:00 p.m., please come directly into the classroom to pick up your child and sign them out.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are grateful for our Cathedral families and appreciate your help in keeping our school day running smoothly!
