Our Life Skill for this week is Tolerance: to recognize and respect the opinions, practices, or behavior of others. As we prepare to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day next week, let us remember the manner in which he dreamed of a world more tolerant than the one he lived in. We know that intolerant behavior can led to discrimination, prejudices, and a “closed mind.”
This week, open yourself up to the thoughts and ideas of others!
