Hello, Hawks:
This is introduction is a hold-over from last week, but still required reading. We are nearing the end of 1st Semester, so here are some things to keep in mind:
1. Finals Week - It's fast-approaching! The end of 1st Semester is January 23. Make sure you understand what is expected of you in each of your classes. Do you have a semester exam? Do you have a big project that will come due? Do not procrastinate. (We do not have a special Finals Week bell schedule).
2. Schedule Changes - please check your Skyward to view your most accurate schedule. As you look over this, be sure that any year-long classes have both 1st and 2nd semesters (for example, do you have English 1st and 2nd semesters?). Counselors are still working on schedules. A final physical copy will be given to you in Focus the week of Jan 21st.
As a reminder: schedule change requests will only be considered the first five school days of the semester and only for the following reasons:
1. A missing period (no class) in the schedule.
2. Missing a semester of a full-year class
3. Double booked (for example, two 2nd period classes)
4. Have an advanced class scheduled but haven't passed the prerequisite.
5. A senior and missing a graduation requirement (CTE, Art, etc.).
Also, I will not approve schedule changes because you want a different lunch. Sorry.
