📣 Reminders

It will be May 1st on Thursday, but our school year is not yet complete. That being said I want to remind you of what you already know and that is that the next few weeks are going to fly right on by because of how busy we are. RTI2A does not stop following the completion of state testing. While there may be some shifts in individual school schedules for field trips, celebratory events, and other year end activities, but instruction should continue as long as it is a school day for students.

Grade 3 ONLY

Any Grade 3 student who has not yet completed the Pearson aimswebPlus Benchmark (ORF, VOC, RC), should be allowed to complete the missing subtest(s) so that they have a composite score between April 28-May 16 time as well. Our completion rate is quite high, but we have students who have not yet completed all three subtests.

🙌 Shout-Outs 🙌 Shout-Outs

Great job to Network 7 High Schools for having the highest completion rates for the recent EWS screenings. I appreciate Dr. Brittenum celebrating you across your network.

9-12 EWS Closeout

If you need to finish screening students, please do so so that you will have all necessary data points to make informed instructional decisions for the enrolling students in intervention courses for the 25-26SY. Please note that you will not see the PowerBi EWS dashboard update as we are outside the screening window. Questions can be emailed to RTI2@scsk12.org.

DYS Coding

MTSS Leads are responsible for ensuring that DYS coding is reflected in PowerSchool. There is a step sheet on the HomePage of On Target for Success SharePoint. Please work closely with your attendance secretary or if you have the ability to update the coding, you can complete the task yourself. Please note that you would have had to attend PowerSchool training earlier this year in order to have access.

💡 Reminders 💡 Reminders

Please support your principal with properly closing out the 24-25 school year. They will soon receive information on school closeout and there is a checklist that will be shared with them very soon. All RTI2A information must be completed by Friday, May 23rd on this checklist though there are some dates which close sooner such as the universal screening window for grades K-8. Once it is shared with school leaders I will ensure that you have a copy as well.
