School Supplies
Bellevue Middle School/High School students do not need to worry about purchasing school supplies for the upcoming school year. In an effort to reduce the financial burden on families during the back to school season, the school provides all school supplies for all students in grades 6-12. On the first day of school, students will just need to bring their school owned device, and charging cable with them.
New Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy for the 2025-2026 School Year
With new legislation passed this year, we are changing how we will handle students having cell phones, ear phones, ear buds, and air pods during the 25-26 school year. Per House Bill 208, students ARE NOT PERMITTED to have an electronic device (cell phone, smart watch, ear phones, air pods, and ear buds) on them during instructional time. This means during the day, that all electronic devices should be locked in their locker. Students ARE permitted to use their electronic devices during lunch. Once lunch is over, all electronic devices must be locked up back in their lockers. If a parent needs to get a hold of a student during instructional hours, please contact the main office and we can relay a message for you.
If a student has their electronic device during instructional time, it will be collected by building administration and locked in the main office. If a student repeatedly has an electronic device on them during instructional time, they will lose the privilege of having their device in the building. We know this is a big change from previous school years. We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we work together to make sure we are in full compliance with this new law. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
New Electronic Communication Guidelines for the 2025-2026 School Year
With new legislation passed this year, we are changing the methods we will be using to communicate electronically with students and parents. Per Senate Bill 181, all electronic communication must be on a traceable platform. With that said, all electronic communication from the school, teachers, and coaches will come through Infinite Campus, email, or through Class Dojo.
For athletics, coaches will be creating their own channels on Class Dojo. All electronic team communication MUST take place on this platform. Parents will no longer be able to text coaches on their cell phones. Coaches will not be responding to direct text messages on their cell phone. To join us on Class Dojo, please click on the link below or scan the QR code. We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we work together to make sure we are in full compliance with this new law. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
No Outside Food or Drinks
Due to federal breakfast/lunch guidelines, students are not permitted to bring outside food an drinks into the building. This includes large caffeinated drinks from places like Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. This also applies to our students who are taking classes at Gateway or NKU. Students are permitted to carry water bottles with them during the day.
