Principal's Greeting
Dear Churchill Families,
As we begin Week 7, please be on the lookout for Mid-Term Progress Reports and NWEA Reports, which will be sent home on Monday, October 6th in the Yellow Communication Folder.
What’s Included:
Mid-Term Reports will reflect student progress in:
English Language Arts (ELA)
Math
Social Studies
Science
Progress will be marked using the following indicators:ME – Meeting Expectations
AE – Approaching Expectations
PM – Partially Meeting Expectations
X – Does Not Yet Meet Expectations
Grades for PE, Music, Art, and STEM can be accessed through Infinite Campus (IC).
NWEA Reports will include:
The Parent Report
- The Progress Report
These provide your child’s percentile range and projected growth in key academic areas.
We are also preparing to host a Parent Meeting to further explain the NWEA results and how we use this data to support student learning. Stay tuned for more details.
If you have any questions after reviewing the reports, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.
A Quick Reminder:
As students continue to enjoy outdoor PE during this beautiful fall weather, please ensure they bring a closed, leak-proof water bottle to stay hydrated.
Thank you for your continued support, and have a wonderful week!

- Social & Emotional
They also learned that bullying is not a one time event, but is ongoing and creates an imbalance in power.
Lastly, our bulldogs took a pledge to be bully-free by:
- Using their hands to show care (give high fives or fist bumps)
- Using their words to encourage and build others up
- Being an up-stander - If you see something, say something and tell an adult
- Making Churchill a "No Bully" zone
We will continue spreading the message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion during lunch reminding students how to be an up-stander. Please continue to encourage your student to be an up-stander.
