SPHS Update
September 16th, 2023
SPHS Community,
I hope this note finds you all well. It seems like we've largely been spared from the wrath of Lee at the conclusion of another great week at SPHS.
Our Open house was great. Thank you to the teachers for making themselves available, and thank you to the families who came out to meet them. It's always great to meet families and this past Thursday was no exception. Conferences are coming up and we'll have more info about how to schedule those n the coming weeks.
This coming week is Spirit Week all leading up to the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 23rd, 7:00-9:30.
Our theme days this year are:
- Monday - BBQ Dads vs Soccer Moms
- Tuesday - Barbieland
- Wednesday - Dress like a celebrity
- Thursday - Class Colors (9th Orange, 10th Green, 11th Pink, 12th Blue)
- Friday - Red and White day
Show your #RIOTPRIDE and represent your class!
Remember that this year at SPHS we're going to be focusing on four community ideals called The SoPo Way...
RESPECT
INCLUSIVITY
OPEN-MINDED
TRUST
SAFETY
Let's keep these front of mind as we work our way through Spirit Week.
There is an Early Release day on Wednesday, September 20th. All students wil lbe dismissed and need to leave campus at 11:55. This means that students report directly to Block 1 at 8:10. The schedule is linked below.
We will be holding a Pep Rally on Friday, September 22nd. On this day students will also report directly to their Block 1 classes. The schedule is also linked below.
Picture day has been rescheduled to Friday, September 29th. Be sure to look your best!
Remember also that we have a new website and WE HAVE AN APP!!! This is where we'll communicate to you about everything SPHS. The SPHS update will be posted there as well. Links to the Android and iPhone apps are below.
Take care and be well,

Primary medical Health Services, Sports Physicals, Treatment of Minor illnesses, Management of Chronic conditions, Vaccines, and Family Planning services. Behavioral Healthcare.
Dental cleanings, fluoride and sealants.
