Good Evening Yowell Families,
This is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update.
I am completely blown away by our show the Jungle Book and the support of our community. If you were one of the hundreds that came out this weekend you know what I am talking about. Our students were well prepared to say their lines and dance with ease confidently. This is a testament to the time in the classroom building their reading skills and practice at rehearsals. One of the most beautiful things I saw during the show was how the students supported each other on stage when one of their castmates needed support. My principal heart melted when I saw an actor run up and give a quick hug to a fellow actor and saw a costume malfunction completely handled by a peer. These small gestures show the empathy our students have for one another. Modeling kindness and care begins at home and is nurtured at school - thank you for being positive models for your children. We have not only talented students but also kids with kind hearts.
This week we Sports Club will begin again. If your child participated in the fall they are welcome back this week!
Again thank you to all the Yowell community for your support of our show The Jungle Book. I hope you have an amazing week!

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
