October 13-17 | East Canned Food Drive
The Midview East Student Council is excited to sponsor a food drive to help address a pantry shortage at a local church that supports our Midview families. Students can bring donations (as seen in the image) to their homeroom teacher. As an added incentive, the 5th and 6th grade classroom that collects the most food will win a pizza party! Thank you for your support in making a difference in our community!
If you placed an order through the Compass Committee’s Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser, pick-up will be on October 16 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Midview Middle School cafeteria! Please note that fundraiser orders cannot be sent home on the bus and must be picked up during the scheduled time.

Veteran's Day Guest Sign Up
- East Intermediate will be holding our annual Veterans Day Assembly and Celebration on Friday, November 7th, in honor of the brave men and women who have served our country. If your child has a Veteran in their family who would like to attend, please have them RSVP by Friday, Ocotber 31, to Crystal Walker at 440.748.1851 or by filling out this form.
Veterans Day Yard Signs
As part of the district's Veterans Day celebrations this year, we would like to extend our gratitude to those who have served with a custom "thank you" yard sign. With the help of staff and families, we hope to identify veterans in our community so they may receive a sign. If you know a veteran who would be comfortable with home delivery and lives within the Midview Local School District, please fill out this form. Members of the MHS Key Club will deliver signs the week of October 20-24. Signs will also be available for pick up at Trunk or Treat on October 29 and the Grafton VFW on November 3 from 5-6 p.m. (no prior registration required).
Library Cards for Midview Students
Exciting news! Your child will soon receive a FREE student library card from the Grafton-Midview Public Library. The card allows your child to borrow books, PG/G movies, music, and audiobooks, request library item deliveries to their school, access digital resources for homework, and register for library events. Note that the card has a limit of 5 items at once and cannot be used for equipment, games, kits or other objects. Families will be financially responsible for borrowed items and should monitor the items their child(ren) checks out. If you wish to opt out of this program, please fill out the following form.
