This week...
I really enjoyed training our Corridor Champion team last week, and then watching them put this training into action this week! It's always a special moment to see children taking on leadership roles so skilfully and enthusiastically. Our corridors were places of tranquillity this week, and I'm sure the Champions will help to keep it this way!
Thank you, as always, for supporting us to
Live, love and learn with the Lord.
Mrs Ronicle

This week, we have been learning...
St Francis Class (Nursery / Preschool)
This week in St Francis Nursery, we have been exploring the theme of Autumn Harvest. The children have been sharing their favourite foods and learning about where different foods come from and how they grow. We have enjoyed looking at a variety of vegetables, naming them and discussing their different colours, shapes and sizes. We also used the balance scales to compare the weights of different vegetables and making predictions about which would be heavier or lighter!
St Bernadette Class (Reception / Y1)
This week in geography, St Bernadette's went on a virtual tour of London. We looked at the key landmarks in daytime and at night. Then, we went to our own London in the library where we looked for the landmarks so that we could have a go at naming them. Now we can plan trips to London in our very own St Bernadette's Travel Agency!
St Patrick Class (Year 2/3/4)
This week St. Patrick's have been budding poets and researchers! We have published our metaphor and personification poems based on the River by Valerie Bloom and started to learn how to research facts to make into a non-chronological report.
We have also been learning about column addition and subtraction with exchange and adding tens. We are looking forward to showing our shell structure models very soon!
St Therese Class (Year 5/6)
In PSHE, we thought about protected characteristics and how our British values and laws protect us. We made shields with the different characteristics on to show how they are defended. We will not discriminate against others because of our differences!
