Dear Texas Ag Teachers,

I am reaching out to provide an updated survey link for my thesis study. A wording revision was made to one of the survey items, so I am asking participants to use the new link below when completing the survey.

My study examines perceptions of traditional one-semester student teaching and yearlong teacher residency models in agricultural education, including the perceived benefits and challenges of each approach.

If you are willing to participate, please complete the survey using the updated link below. The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Updated Survey Link: https://ttucasnr.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cBV3agYg9PXyqvY If you have already completed the previous version of the survey, please complete the survey again using this updated link. I apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your time and assistance with my research. Thank you for your participation and support!

Teachers, this is a critical survey to complete. This study, as defined below, essentially asks whether we want student teachers to be out in classrooms for an entire year or to stay with the semester-based student teaching experience. The legislature has been debating this issue. Some universities are moving forward with adopting this practice. This could have a huge impact on your program and students in general. Texas Tech will share the results with us to use as well in the upcoming legislative session.
