SHINE ON!

What a great first week!! We are learning our new routines and getting to know our new classmates and teachers! Big People: you did an AMAZING job last week! Thank you for trusting the process at drop off even when it's hard! Your children are settling in so quickly as a result! Gold stars all around!

Lunch Bunch begins September 21st. Art, STEM and Creative Movement begin the week of October 5th.

*On Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30pm, October Lunch Bunch and Enrichment sign up links will be posted on Brightwheel.

Lunch Bunch runs after school Monday-Thursday until 1:30pm. Students bring their own nut-free lunch. After lunch, students play on the playground, in the classrooms or our meeting hall. Art, STEM and Creative Movement: students eat lunch and then break off to their Enrichment class. Art, STEM and Creative Movement registration is monthly, Lunch Bunch registration is daily. You can sign up for as many or as few LB sessions as you'd like. If a spot is available, you can sign up the morning of, if you're so inclined! Lunch Bunch/Enrichment is open to our 3s and 4s.

Each month, we highlight a color, shape and group of numbers. September's showcase is yellow, triangle and 0-5. Our weekly themes include classroom rules/schedules, All about me/my pets/my family, name recognition and 5 senses/apples (such a yummy week!).

Our students will be visiting me for Music and Chapel weekly beginning Monday. I will take a moment to explain that God gives people, like doctors, amazing talents and abilities! Part of my throat was sick and my doctors took the sick part away. While I heal, my voice may sound different or quiet, but we can still sing and dance and Praise the Lord!! It is all a joyful noise to Him!!!

In Music and Chapel, we have 15 minutes of music and 15 minutes of chapel. Through Bible stories, we learn that God loves us just the way we are. We also learn to be kind to everyone and look for ways to help our neighbors like Jesus. Throughout the year, we will learn music terms, meet composers, play drums/rhythm sticks/shaky eggs, learn lots of songs and have a ton of fun!!

GBP Spirit Nights:

Wednesday, October 21st from 4-9pm: Firework Pizza

What's Spirit Night? Great question!! Businesses donate a percentage of their profits to GBP during the allotted time/date and when customers mention "GBP" when ordering/purchasing. It is also an excellent opportunity for fellowship! Supporting local business and GBP while getting to know each other better...win win win!!!

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.
