ICU Classwork and Homework Communication
Hi all,The ICU notification system will let you know when your child has work that still needs to be completed.
The work may be due to:
- An absence or illness
- Unfinished classwork
In the past, parents have shared that they would like to be informed about both, so the system is designed to help keep everyone in the loop. If you know your child was absent, the missing work is most likely connected to that absence.
Please know that an ICU notification does not affect your child’s grade or participation in school activities. It is simply a communication tool to help students, families, and teachers stay informed and support students in completing their work.
Each grade level has a slightly different approach to how and when these notifications are sent. If you have questions or would like more clarification about the process, please reach out to a teacher on your child’s grade-level team.
Thank you for partnering with us to help students stay organized and take increasing ownership of their learning!

We are looking for caring, dependable adults who want to make a difference in the lives of our students. Substitute teaching is an important part of keeping our school running smoothly and ensuring students continue to have meaningful learning experiences when their teachers are absent or have required meetings(for example: special education meetings).
As a substitute teacher, you have the opportunity to:
- Make a positive impact on students and support their learning.
- Work alongside a welcoming and supportive school team.
- Gain valuable experience working with middle school students.
- Choose opportunities that fit your schedule.
- Build relationships with students and become a familiar, trusted face in our school.
You do not have to be a career teacher to make a difference. If you enjoy working with young people, are dependable, patient, and willing to learn, we would love to have you join our substitute team.
