Pre-k is Blooming!
Week of April 22, 2024
Everyone did a wonderful job transitioning back into our school routines. As we began the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle unit this week, students explored our budding "junk yard" sensory bin filled with dried rice, pasta, recycled cups, paper, and plates. Some of our read alouds this week were: I Stink, Pete the Cat and the Pizza Party, and Earth Friend Forever. In Fundations we studied the letters O and P while in art students created beautiful water color paintings. I went through our classroom trash can so we could see what we throw out every day. We began to talk about the recycling process and how to find the recycling symbol on the bottom of certain containers. We also started a special planting project. Have a great weekend 💐
