Guidance
Guidance
Last week in Guidance, students learned about Sportsmanship and Handling Disappointments. We saw a lot in Quaver about this, and had great discussions. This week in Guidance, the students have been learning about Gratitude. The Gifts of Gratitude and Being Grateful were our themes and the students really got into listening and discussing this topic. Some of the students in 3-5 wrote journal entries about how they had changed their mind from being ungrateful to grateful about a topic. All students enjoyed making cards to show appreciation and being grateful for something or someone in their lives. It was a very heart-warming lesson this week and I am so thankful for all of our students at Prestwick.
This will be our last week to have this SALT team this week. They have been doing an amazing job! I hope you and your students had a marvelous weekend enjoying the outdoors if the weather cooperated!
Your Proud Prestwick Counselor,
