Hello Graham Families!

Happy Friday!

We are headed into our last week of school before Spring Break. That seems so crazy to me! Reading month is coming to an end but that doesn't mean we stop reading. Even reading to your child for 10 mintues per day; a bedtime story for example, can have a huge impact on literacy, confidence and school success. It can also stengthen the bond between a parent and child, help improve listening skills and attention and build empathy in a child. Reading does WONDERS for everyone!

To wrap up this wonderful month of reading, we will be hosting a Family Bingo Night for all of our Graham families! This will be a FREE event with food, books, games, and lots of prizes. We hope you can join us on Wednesday, March 25th beginning at 5:30 PM for a fun evening together celebrating reading! 📚🎉Don't forget to RSVP!!!!

This week in the Positivity Project, our character strength focus is OPM - Identifying & appreciating

Your child's report card will be available on Monday, March 23rd through your Parent Connect account. If you do not know how to access that account, you can email Ms. Harper at harperb@wwcsd.net

Our Summer programs are registering students! This is a FREE program to all Wayne-Westland Students. The program will run Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30pm during the month of July.

If you need to attend a Kindergarten Round Up event in the evening, please see the flyer above for dates that will be avaialble. You can attend any of them and still register at Graham!

The Care Closet is OPEN!

Thank you to all of our families that have donated items for our Care closet. We will continuously take items at any time. Please make sure they are clean if possible and bring them to the office.

Thank you to Ms. Gamble for organizing the closet and getting it all set up!

Snack cart will be avialable every TUESDAY and FRIDAY during all lunch periods. The 5th grade students run this to support their CAMP FUNDS. Young 5 and Kindergarten students get the SNACK CART in the morning instead of at lunch time.

There are some days when the menu could possibly change due to food items not being available. We will let the students know if there are changes as soon as we find out.

PLEASE fill out a background check if you plan to volunteer at ALL this year in your child's classroom or on a field trip. THIS MUST BE DONE EVERY YEAR!!!! We cannot accept background checks from LAST school year.
