Welcome Back to a New School Year!

There is something about the beginning of a school year that reminds us why schools matter. The hallways are busy again, classrooms are full, and our community feels a little different when our students return.

A successful school year is built over time: in the classroom, at events, through conversations, and in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

As we begin another year, I’m grateful for the students, families, staff, and community members who make Oak Hill what it is. I’m looking forward to the year ahead and to seeing what we accomplish together.

Welcome back, and here’s to a great year.

The first grading period ends Friday, October 16. This is a great time to review your student’s academic progress in ProgressBook.

ProgressBook is our online gradebook where parents and students can view current grades, assignments, missing work, and other academic information throughout the school year.

We encourage families to check ProgressBook regularly and talk with their student about how things are going in each class.

If you have questions or concerns about your child’s grades, please reach out directly to their teacher. Staff email addresses can be found in the Staff Directory.

Through the generosity of many special people, the Oak Hill Middle/High School gym is now home to a beautiful new rolling flag system!

The new flag was officially unveiled during the Lady Oaks Volleyball game on August 26, 2026. Several of the generous sponsors who helped make the project possible were in attendance and were recognized during the evening.

We are incredibly thankful to everyone who contributed to this special addition to our gym and helped make the evening so memorable.

A very special thank you to Bob Spurlock for initiating this project and helping bring the idea to life. His efforts, along with the generosity and support of our sponsors, made this wonderful addition possible.
