Homework Plan (26-27)
Please take a moment to review the District’s Homework Plan to ensure that your child is completing their regularly scheduled homework assignments. Consistent completion of homework helps reinforce classroom learning and supports your child’s academic success.
Title 1 School
The letter explains that because the school is federally funded under Title I, parents have the right to request information about teachers’ and paraprofessionals’ qualifications, as well as details about required student assessments and opting-out procedures.
Bullying Policy
At Stonehurst Hills Elementary, we take bullying seriously and are committed to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing learning environment for all students.
Our district has a bullying policy that outlines how concerns involving bullying are addressed and the steps we take to support the students involved. We encourage all families to review the attached letter so you are familiar with our approach and understand how we respond when bullying concerns are reported.
District News
Home Access Center (HAC)
Please keep your information up to date in the Home Access Center (HAC). HAC provides access to grades and academic progress, attendance records, schedule information, and other student information.
Attendance Awareness Month Message
September is Attendance Awareness Month!
Every school day matters. Regular attendance helps students stay connected to their teachers, classmates, and learning, while also building the habits they need for success in school and beyond. Establishing consistent morning and evening routines, planning ahead for appointments, and communicating with your child’s school when challenges arise can make a meaningful difference in student attendance.
Together, we can help every student be present, engaged, and ready to learn—because every day counts!
Memorial Bricks from Delaware County Memorial Hospital
The Upper Darby School District is making memorial bricks from the former Delaware County
Memorial Hospital available to original donors or their families. A link is provided to view
the list of original donors, and a Google Form is provided to request a brick. Requests
will be collected through September 11, 2026. Individuals will be contacted when their
bricks are available for pickup, and the pickup deadline has been extended. After
September 11, individuals who believe they or a family member donated a brick should
contact the Upper Darby Historical Society at udhist soc@gmail.com or 610-924-0222.
D.M. Kelly Masonry, LLC will remove the bricks and provide them to requestors at no
charge.
Emergency Card Information
Each year emergency cards are distributed to families so that our families can update information, add emergency contacts, etc. Emergency cards are due back to the school by September 11th. If you need to remove an emergency contact from your child's list, please do this through the Home Access Center (HAC). If you need assistance accessing HAC, please contact your child's principal.
