The Roadrunner Express
October 2026 Edition
A monthly roadmap to what's ahead!
A Message from Mrs. Arnold
Dear Twin Lakes Families,
Happy October! As I begin my first full month as your Assistant Principal, I want to share how grateful I am to officially be part of the Twin Lakes family. Over these first few weeks, I have truly enjoyed getting to know our students, staff, and families. Each day, I see the hard work, dedication, and heart that make Twin Lakes such a special place.
Our theme, βOne Team. One Goal.β, is visible throughout our school. From the learning happening in our classrooms to the collaboration among our teachers and the support of our families, it is clear that when we work together, our students are the ones who benefit most.
As we move into October, we will continue focusing on strong instruction, student growth, positive attendance, and creating an environment where every child feels supported, challenged, and excited to learn.
Thank you for welcoming me so warmly to Twin Lakes. I am excited for all that lies ahead!
One Team. One Goal. Every Child Can Excel. π
Warmly,
Mrs. Cynthia Arnold
Assistant Principal

π« Learning Is Our Goal!
October is an important month of learning! Our teachers are working collaboratively to plan meaningful, standards-aligned instruction that challenges students to think, communicate, problem-solve, and take ownership of their learning.
Ask your Roadrunner:
βWhat did you learn today?β
βHow do you know you were successful?β
βWhat was challenging today, and how did you work through it?β
These simple conversations help reinforce that learning is something we value both at school and at home.
β° Attendance Matters
Every day counts. Every minute matters.
Consistent attendance is one of the most important ways families can support student success. When students are at school and on time, they are able to participate fully in instruction, build routines, and stay connected with their classroom community.
Our goal is for every Roadrunner to be present, on time, and ready to learn!
