Flexibility in Fall

Fall is here and change is in the air. The leaves are changing, pumpkin spice is flowing and plaid masks are now the fashion. As we venture deeper into the unknown, we will need to flex our tools of flexibility, grace and patience with our families, students and selves. Please make sure you are taking time to fill your cup by practicing self-care. I have included some ideas below from the Time Special on the Science of Happiness. I will also be offering Mindfulness lessons for your class. It is important that we stay mentally resilient as these rocks cross our path.

Below you will find new information and resources from PBSES!

"People who get adequate sleep have a better shot at achieving emotional well-being, according to a 2014 analysis. The happiest people get an average of eight hours a night; 42% of U.S. adults get less than the recommended minimum of seven hours." -Time ,The Science of Happiness
