MRI Family & Community Update
August 4, 2025
Dear MRI Families,
Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Mountain Ridge Intermediate School! We're looking forward to a year of growth, learning, and new opportunities.
We are excited to welcome both returning families and those who are joining our school community for the first time. At Mountain Ridge Intermediate, we are committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired.
Our dedicated staff has been working hard to prepare for the new year—cleaning and maintaining our beautiful building, organizing classrooms, and planning activities that will spark curiosity and support success. This year, we will continue to focus on increasing academic achievement, social-emotional development, and building strong relationships among students, families, and staff.
Here are a few important reminders and updates as we begin the year:
First Day of School: Tuesday, August 19th
School Hours: 8:20am - 3:20pm
Meet the Teacher Night: Wednesday, August 13th
Supply Lists and Schedules: Available on our website & Schoology.
We encourage open communication and partnership between home and school. If you have questions, concerns, or would just like to introduce yourself, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or our administrative team.
Let’s work together to make this a positive and memorable school year. We are excited for all the learning, laughter, and discovery that lies ahead!
We are proud to be Redhawks!
