February has arrived.....
Hello Falcon Families:
It's hard to believe that February has arrived....we will see what the groundhog says on Monday about whether we continue with winter or have an early spring. As we continue to move forward through this semester, the campus seems to get busier with activities. We just completed our middle of the year MAP testing this past week. This is a great piece of data that we use to make adjustments. This data helps us see exactly how much each student has grown and in what areas we can continue to help them grow.
As we move into February we are kicking off the month celebrating our counselors. Ms. Mitchell and Mrs. Trevino work tirelessly to meet the needs both academically and emotionally for all of our students. We are blessed to have them on our campus. February also kicks off Black History Month. As the month progresses, we will be sending out information pertaining to our annual Black History Month celebration. We are kicking off February with a theme week for students. The theme days are listed below.
Please take a moment to read through the information below. We appreciate all your support, and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Nicole Rosas-Saunders, Principal

Tardy Sweeps....what are they and why are they done?
We have noticed that more and more students are getting to class late, because of this, we have initiated our Tardy Sweeps. Please read the information below pertaining to the process.
Tardy Sweeps:
If your student is caught in a tardy sweep, it result in a day of ISS. Tardy sweeps are announced during the passing period by admin with at least 3:00 mins left in the transition period. If your student is not in the room when the tardy bell rings, they are escorted to ISS for the remainder of the day. Admin performs these sweeps. The ISS will either be served that day or scheduled for the next day.
