Midview Families, Staff, and Community,

As we begin Spring Break, I would like to take a moment to wish all of Middie Nation a wonderful and well-deserved week ahead! Whatever your family’s plans might be, I hope you are able to find time to relax and spend meaningful moments together.

When we return from break, students will spend the next few weeks engaged in both their regular coursework and required state assessments (see schedule below). While these assessments are just one of the many tools we use to measure student progress, it is important to remember that testing days can be long and difficult for students. We ask for your partnership in helping them come to school prepared, rested, and ready to do their best!

While it can be tempting to begin counting down the days to summer, these final weeks are still a critical time for learning and achievement. A key part of finishing strong is maintaining consistent attendance. Being present each day ensures students can fully engage in their learning, stay connected to their teachers and peers, and build the momentum needed to start the next school year off on the right foot. Every day truly matters!

In closing, I’d like to remind our families, students, and staff to remain present in these final weeks. The end of the school year has a way of moving quickly, and before you know it, these moments become memories. As parents, especially, it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and miss the chance to pause and appreciate the many firsts and lasts each school year brings. While many exciting years of learning are still ahead for our younger students, our high school families can certainly attest to how quickly time flies.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back from Spring Break refreshed and ready to finish the year strong. As always, thank you for your continued support of Midview Local Schools and for the important role you play in the success of our students.

Best,

Mrs. Meredith Udris

Interim Superintendent

NHS is founded on four core pillars—scholarship, service, leadership, and character—which serve as both a guiding standard for its members and an inspiring example for the entire student body. Please join us in congratulating our junior and senior students who were celebrated in Midview High School’s 69th NHS induction ceremony. See the full list of inductees and read the article below.
