The Creativity Project will be an after school opportunity for students to explore interests that are meaningful to them in a guided setting. Students will work in teams to explore various stations and develop their interests in areas such as arts, STEM, theatre, writing, communication, philanthropy, business, fashion, or anything else that sparks creativity! This year the Educational Foundation is continuing its funding of The Creativity Project at all eight elementary buildings. Please sign up HERE if you are interested in having your child participate.

The project will kick off on Saturday, January 10th at Barrington High School. Students will attend a two hour session during the morning where they will be broken up into small groups and have the ability to explore a variety of creative opportunities.

The library hosts a Winter Reading Challenge!

While you are driving around or preparing for dinner, help your student learn math multiples with these songs. Students love them!

Learning during the break

It's so easy to let screens play a major role in our kiddos' lives over break. What we know is that students need to play outside, read, play board games, and disconnect from technology. See our reading contests above, and make a trip to the library.

Students will be working on empathy this month and will be working towards earning a Holiday Bingo at the end of the month! Here is a picture of the Gratitude chain that our students made throughout the month of November expressing things that they were grateful for.
