There’s nothing better than seeing our alumni come back to inspire the next generation!

Hewitt-Trussville graduate Tyler Tolbert spoke with our sixth graders this week about his journey to UAB, being drafted by the Kansas City Royals, and making his MLB debut in spring 2025.

Most importantly, he spoke to students about the power of setting goals, putting in hard work, and treating your classmates like teammates. We’re grateful for examples like Tyler who remind our students that today’s classrooms can lead to tomorrow’s big dreams.
