Another newsletter is here, and there is so much happening at Harmony School of Innovation – Dallas! Our Tigers have been busy learning, competing, creating, participating, and making memories across campus. We love seeing the energy and school spirit our students bring each day, and we are excited to share some of the latest happenings with you.

We are grateful to our wonderful families, teachers, staff, and community for the continued support you give our students. It truly takes all of us working together to create a school environment where our Tigers feel encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

English Learner (EL) students may be eligible for certain testing supports on College Board assessments such as the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, PSAT 8/9, and SAT School Day.

Please complete this form if you would like us to request College Board testing supports for your child. College Board will review the request and determine which supports can be provided.

The available EL supports may include:

Translated test directions

Approved bilingual word-to-word dictionary

Up to 50% additional testing time

Text-to-speech for the Math section

Support our Class of 2027 Seniors! 🎓 Seniors will be selling delicious snacks every Monday and Tuesday in the gym. Stop by, grab a treat, and help support our seniors and their activities throughout the year! ❤️🐯

The GATE (Gifted and Talented Educations) program nomination window is NOW OPEN Dear Parents, The GATE (Gifted and Talented Educations) Programs Nomination window is NOW OPEN for NEW STUDENTS. If you are interested in having your student evaluated for the Gifted and Talented Educations program at our campus, please click the link below to nominate your student. Nominating your student does not guarantee admission into the program. Once your nomination is received the GATE committee at our campus will look into your students' credentials for eligibility for being tested. Eligible students will be tested in October 2026. Nomination forms can be filled out online or on paper. Please click on the links below to find the online or paper version of the nomination form. Paper copies are also available at the front office or may be downloaded below. The forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, December 18th, 2026.

Dear HSI Dallas Parents and Guardians,

Please ensure your child’s meal account maintains a positive balance to prevent any changes to their regular school lunch service. Per policy, students with a negative balance will receive an alternative meal consisting of a Sunbutter and jelly sandwich until the account is cleared.

You can review your balance and make payments online via SchoolCafe.com or in person at the school front office.

Additionally, if you have not completed the meal eligibility form, we highly encourage you to apply for free or reduced-price lunch. Qualifying families may also receive discounts on school clubs and activities. We will be serving Halal Friendly Meals.

Dear HSI Dallas Parents and Guardians,

If your child is denied a regular meal, please know this is due to a negative lunch balance on their account. Students with a negative balance will be provided with an alternative lunch until the balance is cleared.

To avoid interruptions, please check your student’s meal account balance regularly through SchoolCafe.com and make payments as needed.

If you have any questions, you may contact Ms. Askari, Child Nutrition Aide, at maskari@harmonytx.org.

Additionally, if you have not yet completed an eligibility form for school lunch, we encourage you to apply for free or reduced-price lunch. Families who qualify may also receive discounts for clubs and other activities.

We encourage all families to complete the 2026–2027 Meal Application for their student(s).

Completing a meal application is important for more than just determining your child’s meal eligibility. The information collected may also help:

• Determine the amount of state funding your child’s school may qualify for, which can support books, classroom resources, and other educational needs.
• Determine whether high school students may qualify for discounts or fee reductions for dual credit courses, AP exams, college applications, and other programs.
• Support eligibility for certain community programs and additional student benefits.

Meal applications can be completed quickly and conveniently online at www.schoolcafe.com.

We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

🎓 Exciting News for HSI Dallas! 🎓

We are thrilled to begin our Dual Credit Partnership with Dallas College! This amazing opportunity allows our high school students to get a head start on their future by earning college credit while still in high school. 📚✨

We are incredibly proud to provide our students with opportunities that challenge them, prepare them for college, and bring them one step closer to achieving their goals. A special thank you to Dallas College for working with our team and helping make the enrollment process smooth and accessible for our students.
