Growing Together @ STL

Leadership Message
Finding the Rainbow in the Storm
This week we've had several days of rain...but that hasn't stopped the fun!
It's heartening to watch students from different grades playing games together in the hallway, laughing and having a great time. Blessed we are a family who laughs and plays together!
We were at this year's first SCL Farmers Market
Thank you to Mrs. Marple, Mme Monique, Miss Diduck for joining us! Thank you to Mrs. Ferguson and Mrs. Crawley for representing our STL parent voice!
We also did some local vendor shopping. We might be back in August!
St. Luke Alumni visit
The hallways were electric with the energy as students cheered, whistled and handed celebratory cards to the St. Luke students, who are now ABJ grade 12 grads graduating this year!
They returned to their roots so we could celebrate them and their amazing accomplishments! They revisited their favorite St. Luke locations (the forts and the bird garden!) and reminisced about their time at St. Luke.
Our grade 8s had a chance to sit down with them and get the inside scoop of transitioning to ABJ. After some food and celebrations, they enjoyed a fun game of rounders with the Junior Highs.
What was supposed to be a 30 minute visit, turned into an entire afternoon of connection. A huge compliment of their positive roots!
Thank you School Council!
We are deeply grateful for our incredible School Council and all that they do for St. Luke Catholic School. Their time, energy, and generous sharing of their unique gifts truly enhance our school community in countless ways. Whether supporting events, offering thoughtful insights, or quietly working behind the scenes, they help create a welcoming, faith-filled environment where students, staff, and families thrive. We are better because they are here. They make a difference—each and every day—and we thank them wholeheartedly.
We were approved! Get your KDays tickets from the office!
How exciting is this?
We applied on behalf of our amazing school to receive FREE tickets for KDays on opening day, Friday, July 18 and we were approved!
These general admission tickets apply to individuals of ALL ages! If you are interested in receiving tickets for you and each immediate family member, please send a child to the office with a little note of how many will be attending from your immediate family on July 18th and we will send them home!
We have a limited number of tickets (150), and it is our hope that anyone who wants to go on July 18th can. For FREE!
While quantities last.
Together We Drum Our Heartbeats as One
Mrs. Marple, our music specialist, embarked on an amazing journey with students as part of their season of drumming with the Djembe drums. It was also an extension of our collective St. Luke goal to build connections with children so they have safe places to land, and solid bases from which to soar.
Together they created a beautiful mural, each one drawing and colouring the people in their lives who love them, care for them, who are their biggest cheer leaders and who they feel safe with. Check out the Learners and Learning section for more amazing pictures!
A beautiful way to celebrate the village it takes to raise a child. Blessings to you for being part of the village!
Thank you for choosing St. Luke Catholic School and Catholic Education!
With abundant gratitude,
Mme Gravelle
