Please be in your classrooms ready for Advisory students no later than 8:00am!

For those who can come 15 minutes early and/or stay 15 minutes late on Monday, it can make a big difference in ensuring the first day runs smoothly.

6th graders or new arrivals might need you to walk them to their classrooms. Remember, our middle school feels big and intimidating to them! Be warm and patient.

Please know the front office will be CRAZY first thing in the morning. It is not a good time to send kids for things that can wait, such as paying the school supply fee.

Morning:

• Be in the cafeteria or halls ensuring everyone knows where to go.
• Reference this Advisory list if students do not know where to report. Have sticky notes to write down room #s.
• If a student is not on the list, send them to the front office.
• Contact counselors if a student is on the list but does not have a full schedule. They will print and get it to you.
  
  

Afternoon:

• Ensure ALL kids know their bus and where to report to at dismissal.
• Here are bus dismissal locations. Some students might need help getting to the correct spot.
• Here are bus routes.

Please send packets home with students who missed Open House. You might follow up with parents on School Status to ensure they received the take-home folder of information.

I don't need your advisory tracker sign-in sheets, so I've been putting them back in your boxes. Make sure you enter the written tracker info into your digital Advisory Tracker.

Flex Period Schedule

Here is the flex period schedule for those without duty, travel, or other roles during that time. Please reference the master schedule and adjust your individual plan period each day based on this schedule. All teachers, even those with duty, may be asked to attend an important Friday session.

I'm so proud of how you showed up to district events with school spirit and had a positive attitude throughout PD week. Hearing your shout outs to each other on Friday was a fulfilling way to end the week.
