COSTUME EXPECTATIONS COSTUME EXPECTATIONS

We’re excited to once again give students the opportunity to wear costumes to school as part of our Red Ribbon Week activities!

To help make this a fun and positive experience for everyone, please review the following expectations for student costumes:

  • All costumes must comply with the West Ada School District Dress Code (page 24 of the Middle School Student Handbook).
  • Weapons or mock weapons of any kind, including plastic guns or knives, are not permitted.
  • Staff must be able to easily identify students throughout the school day. Masks must remain at home, and face makeup or paint should be minimal.
  • Costumes should not include blood, gore, or violent imagery.
  • Inflatable costumes may be worn during lunch only.
  • Costumes must allow students to move comfortably and participate fully in class, including sitting at desks or tables as usual.

Thank you for helping us make our costume day at CMS safe, respectful, and fun for everyone!

WEST ADA IS HIRING BUS DRIVERS WEST ADA IS HIRING BUS DRIVERS

West Ada is currently looking for bus drivers, and no previous experience is required. Training is provided for all new drivers.

Bus drivers work on school days and generally follow the same school breaks as students, making this a great opportunity for those looking for a schedule that aligns with the school calendar.

If you are interested in supporting students and being a positive part of our school community, consider applying to become a West Ada bus driver.
