Students who want breakfast may enter at door #1 by 8:30 with an ID.

We kindly ask all families to avoid parking or stopping in the fire lane during arrival and dismissal times.

Additionally, our activity buses need a clear path to enter, exit, and safely turn into the lane. When the fire lane is blocked, it creates safety concerns and can delay transportation.

We appreciate your partnership in helping us keep all students safe and ensuring a smooth dismissal process. Thank you for your cooperation!

School Attendance, Truancy & Chronic Absenteeism: What Parents Need to Know

The Boys & Girls Club of North Central Illinois offers after-school services to Fearn, Freeman, Greenman, Goodwin, Hill, McCleery, and Nicholson elementary schools, in addition to Herget Middle School. At the Club, we aim for each youth member to have fun in a safe environment, while fostering supportive relationships with staff and peers, exposing youth to unique program opportunities, and recognizing members for their efforts and accomplishments. To ensure a healthy environment for all students, all food and drinks must be consumed in designated areas. Outside food delivery (i.e. UberEats) to students at the school is not permitted.

🎂Birthdays

Our schools enjoy celebrating the special days of our students, and birthdays are a wonderful occasion to do so. On your child's birthday (or near the end of the school year for summer birthdays), our office will acknowledge your child with a special book. Parents/guardians who wish to opt their child out of receiving a birthday book should contact the main office of their school.

We kindly ask that parents refrain from sending edible and non-edible birthday treats to school with their children, as we prioritize the safety and well-being of all our students, some of whom may have food allergies or dietary restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a positive and inclusive school environment. Any edible or non-edible treats brought to school will be returned to the respective family.
