Park Curfew Reminder: Minors Out After 11 PM Will Receive a Ticket
We want to remind all members and visitors of the park about the 11:00 p.m. curfew that applies to individuals under the age of 18. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our youth, as well as to maintain order and a peaceful environment within the River Bend community.
Curfew Time: 11:00 PM
Who This Applies To:
This curfew applies to all minors under the age of 18. It is designed to help protect young people from potential risks during late-night hours.
Exceptions to the Rule:
Minors will not be penalized if they are out past curfew in the following circumstances:

Accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian: If the minor is with a responsible adult—whether a parent or legal guardian—they are allowed to be outside after curfew.

Attending an RBMC-Sponsored Event: If the minor is participating in an event organized or sponsored by the River Bend Municipal Council (RBMC), they are exempt from the curfew.
Purpose of the Curfew:
The main goal of this rule is to ensure that minors are safe and not exposed to unnecessary risks during nighttime hours. Additionally, it helps preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the River Bend community, allowing families to enjoy the park without concern for safety or disruption.
Curfew Violation Fine Structure:
To help enforce the curfew, the park has established a fine structure for violations:

First Offense: The minor will receive a warning.

Second Offense: A $25 fine will be issued.

Third Offense: A $35 fine will be issued
We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in reminding their children about the curfew and helping them comply with these rules. By working together, we can maintain a safe, family-friendly environment in River Bend and prevent the need for fines or penalties.
