Roadway striping and the installation of decorative rock in the median islands near

Green Valley are scheduled to be completed on Thursday. The most significant remaining work will be raising the utility manholes throughout the project area, which is scheduled for next week. During this work, motorists may experience temporary changes to traffic control and vehicle routing. No direct impacts to driveways are anticipated. Following next week’s work, activity will be minimal as crews complete final cleanup and punch-list items to bring the project to completion.

• Archdiocesan Professional Development Day: all elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas will be closed today.

This week's Life Skill is Charity: showing generosity and helpfulness towards others, especially those who are suffering. You can be charitable in many ways! Here are some simple ideas:

1. Giving to those in need or those who may not have enough.

2. Helping others.

3. Be kind.

4. Reaching out to someone who is lonely or feels left out.

Being charitable is all about showing love and kindness to others!

Rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 14th, from 3-4 PM.

The Angel Choir is open to all 4th - 8th Grade students who love to sing! Sing weekly at the School Mass, SAP Family Masses, Christmas Parade, Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, and more!

Is your child in need of the Sacrament of Baptism or First Holy Communion? St. Francis of Assisi’s Faith Formation Office is here to help families begin the preparation process. Please see the attached letter for important information about Baptism preparation for children of all ages and how to get started on this special journey of faith.

With the new school year now underway, we would like to reach out to all new parent volunteers. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our school community, helping us provide enriching programs, special events, and wonderful experiences for our students. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, we would love to have you involved!

All parent volunteers must complete the background check and Safe Environment clearance process required by the Archdiocese of Las Vegas and St. Anthony of Padua School before volunteering on campus. Please complete the CMG Connect online training before scheduling your fingerprint appointment. Additional information can be found on our school website:

Once you have successfully completed the free online training course, please schedule an appointment to have your fingerprints taken. Fingerprinting is completed in the school front office and typically takes approximately 20–30 minutes. Please be sure to bring a valid government-issued photo ID to your appointment.
