Spotlight of the Week
The Girls Cross Country team continued to show improvement during their final regular-season meet yesterday, with four girls finishing in the top 25! The first Daley runner to cross the finish line was Maeve M., who placed 2nd overall in the girls’ race. This was Maeve’s first race of the year, making her second-place finish an incredible accomplishment! Following Maeve was Addison W., who finished 13th overall. Rounding out Daley’s top 25 finishers were Maddy X.-K., who placed 17th, and Sophiena N., who finished 18th. Sophia H., Bellya L., Madeline M., Grace N., Destinee K., Harper S., Emily N., Julie S., Alora A., Theirya Z., and Avalee P. also finished in the top 50! This is an amazing accomplishment and a testament to the hard work and determination shown by the entire team.
The Boys Cross Country team finished the season with an impressive performance, with four runners placing in the top 25! The first Daley runner to cross the finish line was Lucas R., who placed 8th overall. Following Lucas was Wyatt S., who finished 11th. Rounding out the top 25 were Guyvenson F., who placed 22nd, and Michael B., who finished 24th. Jason M., Neeson N., Joseph S. Jr., Chanson P., Sam G., Ty C., Tepbudhi H., and Harry Z. also finished in the top 50. Having so many runners finish among the top 50 is an outstanding accomplishment for the team!
The Girls and the Boys Cross Country teams will now look to claim a championship title at their championship races on Thursday, October 22nd, at Shedd Park. Great job all season, Daley runners, and best of luck to everyone competing in the championship races!

Wrestling is one of the oldest and most respected sports—built on discipline, determination, and respect. It pushes athletes to grow stronger, more confident, and more resilient. Lowell has a proud wrestling history: 16 state titles, 5 New England championships, and countless individual champions. Now it’s your turn to be part of that legacy. We welcome all students—male and female, experienced or new. Wrestling has a place for everyone and can help you reach goals you never thought possible. Join us and help write the next chapter of Lowell Wrestling.
This year, the Scholastic Book Fair will be from November 9 - November 13. All students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their ELA classes. We will also be open during Family Night on November 12 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. We’re excited about the variety of novels, journals, and posters available, and we can’t wait to see everyone at the Book Fair!
Create your child’s Book Fair eWallet so they can shop cash-free, worry-free, and independently! It’s easy to set up and easy for others to contribute funds!
