Grandparent Breakfast
PTO Grandparent Breakfast
Our PTO is sponsoring a Grandparent Breakfast for our students and those special VIPs in their life. If a grandparent is unable to attend, no worries, send another special guest with your student. Breakfast will be served from 7:45am-8:30am. Students can arrive with their guests within that block of time and will not be marked tardy. If you have multiple children in the school, please only attend once on the day of the youngest sibling. Please make sure your guests know not to arrive until 7:45am. Otherwise, they will get stuck in our carline and be unable to park. The book fair will not be open during grandparent breakfast. We look forward to hosting our special guests in September!
Picture Day
Picture Day will be Wednesday, September 16th! Please avoid wearing green as this sometimes contrasts with the background screen. Make up pictures will be available for any student that is absent.
Family Night
Come experience related arts come alive September 22nd! From 5pm-7pm families can drop by to visit our book fair and participate in fun PE, art, music, library, STEM, and literary arts stations together! Visit as many or as few stations as you like- try out instruments, create a mural, take a reading adventure, and more! This will be a great time to spend time with family and our school community while experiencing fun activities brought to you by our fabulous related arts team. Food trucks will also be available!
Book Fair
The Fall Book Fair will be here Sept 21-25. Students may bring money in a labeled envelope (student name & teacher name) to shop during the school day. Families will also be able to shop during our Experience The Arts Family Night on September 22nd. You can also put money on an e-wallet for students to shop! The Book Fair will not be open during Grandparent Breakfasts.
AVID Day- Celebrating College and Career Readiness
On September 18th, our students will take part in in-school activities celebrating AVID, a program that helps prepare students for college and future careers. As part of the day, students are invited to participate in “Future You” by dressing up to represent a career they may be interested in pursuing one day.
We look forward to seeing a wide variety of future careers on display! Please keep in mind that this is a learning activity designed to inspire students to think about their futures, not a general costume day. All outfits should follow the school dress code.
PTO Buddy-A-Thon
Students are doing a great job of raising money for our PTO! This money is used to help purchase items for our school such as updated library furniture, reducing field trip costs, and student incentives. See the latest update and how you can help here!
School Improvement Council
Your 2026-2027 elected parent representative for our School Improvement Council will be Stephanie Carter. In addition, Jaclyn Ferguson will finish the second year of her term as parent representative as well. Thank you for all that expressed interest and were willing to serve the students and staff at ACA.
Early Release Day
Wednesday, September 23rd, will be an early release day for students. Dismissal will be at 11:30am. If your child usually goes to our ACA After School Program or WolfPack program, they will need to be car riders on this day. Please plan accordingly and make sure the person picking up your child has the correct car tag.
