-PARENTS PLEASE ASK YOUR STUDENT TO TAKE HOME THEIR BELONGINGS AFTER BAND EVENTS! THERE ARE SEVERAL CLOTHES AND PERSONAL ITEMS BEING LEFT (INCLUDING ITEMS THAT ARE NEEDED FOR YOUR STUDENTS UNIFORM). THANKS!

-Please encourage your student to complete ALL assignments and turn in all required materials and paperwork when requested.

-BAND CONCERT IS OCTOBER 8th @6:30pm at Walter Johnson Middle School.

-CONTINUOUS REMINDER THAT NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED-Band Fees were due the first day of classes (unless you have worked out a payment plan). From all of the years of owed fees, we currently sit at $36K mark in owed in band fees. Please get your band fees in so we can continue to provide the quality in music education your students deserve :-). If you need a reminder of what yours are, please feel free to reach out.

If you are the parent of a current band student, you are a member of the organization! Congrats!

If you are a graduate or a parent of a graduate and would like to petition the board to become a member all that is required is a letter stating that you wish to become a member and your tie to the program.

If you are a current 11th-12th grade student and have a balance on Cut-Time, please pay that directly online or through the band office with Mr. Chesson and the boosters.

If you are a current 9th-10th grader or have not paid this years fees, please make the payments out to Freedom High School (memo line BAND FEE) and give to Mr. Chesson.

We have apx. $36K in band fees left owed. Please get these in to help us provide for the kids and the program.

Senior names will be added to the school list for fees unpaid.

Please consider purchasing this book as a tool for sight-reading and other ways to develop your individual musicianship. Our students have expressed their feelings that sight-reading on an individual level is a skill they want to be better at. This book will provide them with plenty of resources to practice this skill!

Mr. Chesson's 10th year at Freedom. We want to do something with all of the alumni! Homecoming is in October and we would love to invite you to perform with us!
