Wolf Weekly October 19-23, 2026
Run with the Pack: Weekly News from the Wolves’ Den!
Dear Jesus,
I am so thankful that I could wake up this morning in a nice house surrounded by loving people, who provide me with all the things I need to live like a warm bed to sleep in every night and fresh meals and water every single day. I am so grateful I get to come to school and have a good education with great teachers who care for us every step of the way.
Lord, I ask that you will keep me safe through this upcoming hockey season and all of my teammates too, as it says in Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." . I also ask that you will provide peace between nations when they do not agree on stuff and want to go to war. I pray that you will help people in need this winter who do not have shelter and will be very cold during the winter months.
In your name we pray Amen.

LIVING THE MISSION: FAITH AT THE HEART OF OUR PACK
Faith Fact Friday!
Sunday October 18 is the feast of St. Luke- one of the authors of the gospels! About Luke:
Luke is the author of the largest portion of the New Testament. It is estimated that he wrote it between 58-80AD.
His account of the Nativity is perhaps the most well-known account of Christ’s birth. Other significant stories unique to Luke include the parables of the Prodigal Son and the Good Samaritan.
Luke was a physician! Because of his background, Luke includes many significant stories of healing in his Gospel. Today, Luke is recognized as the patron saint of physicians.
St. Luke passed away around 84 AD at the age of 84 in Thebes (Boeotia), Greece.
St. Luke pray for us!
